On August 30th, Bob received an email from Ronnie; the subject read, "Are you the Robert Schmitt born In Ridgewood, Queens, NY?
After 32 years, Ronnie found Bob 50 miles away. Bob & Brenda visited Ronnie & Carmen the next day. We met two of their three sons -- Adam and Chris (Richie couldn't make it), Adam's girlfriend Vanessa, Carmen's sister Blanca, their friend Tom, and a menagerie of wildlife.
It didn't seem like it had been 32 years as we shared memories, viewed old home movies, had a wonderful meal, and just enjoyed being "family."
